The finished product for the camshaft lamp. i made a wooden base for it on the lath, and sprayed the rotor with clear coat to keep the rust in place.

I made a camshaft lamp for my moms Christmas present. she said if i made her a lamp it had to be clean looking. i think this is as close as ill get to that.

this is my favorite lamp so far. the bulb and housing are from a car headlight, so it has a super bright halogen bulb. the rest is made of suspension parts bolted together. it sits about three and half feet high. Ill post it on Etsy when i figure out the total cost.
